Meet Our Team
Wiley M. Elick BA, DDS
Dr. Elick is widely known in California’s Central Valley for his work in restorative dental care for very young children and teenagers. He has also provided dental care for children in a hospital setting for many years. Dr. Elick earned his DDS degree at Loma Linda University and is a member of the California Dental Association, Tulare-Kings Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. Working with kids for over 30 years in the Hanford area is the reason we call him “The Kid’s Dentist.”
Kyim Mung, MA, BS, DDS
Ever since a teenager, Dr. Mung wanted to change people’s lives through smiles. She pursued her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and then continued in her dental education by going through dental school at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Mung graduated from the program in 2017 with a dual degree–her Doctorate in Dentistry and her Masters in Bioethics. She was initiated into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society for being top 10 in her graduating class. After dental school, Dr Mung worked abroad on a tiny remote island called Saipan for 2 years, where she served as a missionary dentist. It was on this little island that her love for pediatric dentistry grew. After two years of mission work, Dr. Mung returned to San Diego to pursue her passion for pediatric dentistry by going through a rigorous pediatric dental program associated with Rady Children’s Hospital.
In her spare time, Dr. Mung enjoys the outdoors. Her hobbies include hiking, playing tennis, reading self-development books, and of course, eating. She is a major foodie and is so excited to try all the different restaurants that the Central Valley has to offer!
Dr. Mung says, “Thank you for entrusting me with your most precious treasure, your child! I can’t wait to work together with you so that we can collaborate on how to improve your child’s quality of life.”
At Kids Dental Group, our team and patients love healthy smiles. That’s why we believe that teaching your child to brush and floss properly is so important! Educating our patients about dental health now will set them up for a lifetime of good dental hygiene. All of our hygienists and assistants are licensed and cpr certified with extensive training to provide the best care for your child.
We take safety seriously. Our infection control policies are extremely important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we maintain sterilization and cross-contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
